About Jimy Mac Lenz
I was born and raised in Onawa, Iowa. After graduating high school, I attended Buena Vista College for 4 years focusing on radio and television. My parents were from this area and met on the Arnolds Park roller skating rink in 1954. My love/addiction for the Great Lakes area started as a child. We’d come to Okoboji often as my grandparents lived in Estherville and Spencer. I've been a resident here for 15 years now and have worked in the area for over 30 years. I have a daughter and a son, along with two grandchildren.
I've been in sales for over 25 years, and the entertainment business for over 30 years. I’ve DJ'ed in every club in the Lakes area over the years and I've been extremely fortunate to have met so many great people!
Although I traveled for most of my sales career, I finally decided to slow down. My decision to be in real estate was a natural fit, not only because I enjoy what the Iowa Great Lakes has to offer, but for the love I have of showing others what a great place it is!
I enjoy golfing, fishing, hunting, boating, and am a certified car nut. A “gear head” to the core, I love anything with a motor!
Most weekends you can find me playing music for a variety of events, spending time with my kids and grandkids or socializing with my friends. I look forward to working with anyone who wants to be in this beautiful region. It’s truly a great place to live!
